About the organization: Compass Family Services is a 100+ year old nonprofit working on the front lines of San Francisco’s homeless crisis. We provide families experiencing or at risk of homelessness with comprehensive support to address immediate needs and ensure long-term success.
About the team: C-Rent provides San Francisco families with financial assistance to prevent eviction or to pay for move-in costs on a new home. Families are also provided with light case management and external referrals to support them in becoming economically self-sufficient and maintaining their housing.
Compensation: $31 - $33.50 per hour
Schedule: Full time (7.5 hours/day), Monday - Friday, primarily during standard working hours

Position Description:
The Lead Eviction Prevention Specialist (EPS) will serve as a leader on the C-Rent team, both working with families and assisting the Program Director (PD) with program administration work. Working with families, the Lead EPS will screen applicants for SF ERAP eligibility and provide funds for back rent and move-in costs. Assisting with program administration, the Lead EPS will support the PD with reviewing check requests, answering client emails and calls, updating materials, and training the team. This is a fast-paced position which requires someone with deep compassion for families facing homelessness, an ability to juggle many responsibilities at once, and strong attention to detail.
